The most common parenting styles in Kosovo: perceptions of secondary school students

This study was conducted to analyze Kosovo's most common parenting styles based on secondary school students' perceptions. There are four of parenting: 1) Authoritative parents, 2) authoritarian 3) Permissive, tolerant 4) uninvolved (negligent) parents. The concluded with students in two gymnasiums Klina and Gjakova. Out 1334 participants who took part the study, 848 were female, 486 male. A quantitative method used for analysis. instrument research is Parenting Style Scale (Gafor & Kurukkan, 2014). Each statement a paired sample t-test independent see differences between fathers mothers. 38 statements, showed statistically significant values that mothers authoritative 14 statements permissive 12 them. At same time, not but only one statement. According female perceptions, more than fathers, while male perceptions according style, equally authoritative. In Kosovo, much involved compared fathers.
